The Role....

  • Manage, coach and develop a successful and expanding sales team in both Europe and North America
  • Manage a very significant sales growth phase of the company
  • Set budgets, targets, goals, commission plans and sales and product strategies as part of the senior management team
  • Take a hands on role in developing sales revenue with our most significant customers
  • Build an executive network in the Life Science, Applied Chemistry and Clinical Diagnostics sectors

To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:

  • A minimum 5 years experience of managing a multinational sales team in the Life Science, Applied Chemistry or Clinical Diagnostics sectors.
  • Able to demonstrate significant sales management success in a manufacturing, distribution, publishing or services environment
  • A good understanding of the SelectScience proposition together with an interest in marketing and branding would be advantageous.
  • Show experience of developing Key Account relationships, negotiating skills and developing CRM systems
  • University educated, to at least degree level
  • An excellent understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the internet is essential
  • You must be able to travel internationally to exhibitions, client  and team meetings on a frequent basis (up to 50% time commitment)
