The Digital Project Manager is a new role to support the transformation of the SelectScience technology stack. You will be an effective and collaborative project leader responsible for managing the successful end to end delivery of IT projects and programmes that support the overall delivery of SelectScience’s strategic plan and transformational change objectives.
You are a collaborative and enthusiastic team player who is open to learning, keen to work in an agile setting and who values those around you.
Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale technical projects.
Build, lead and manage project teams, ensuring responsibilities and accountabilities within the team are established and delivered
Identify, manage, and escalate programme and project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies as appropriate within agreed timescales
Maintain a detailed knowledge of the aims and objectives of the IT Strategy and its portfolio of projects
Facilitate agile delivery for development and support teams
Manage scope and mitigate risk across projects.
Initiate and maintain documentation for project status, risks and issues
Build strong internal relationships with key stakeholders and delivery functions
Work with the business and system suppliers to identify system requirements and develop appropriate solutions
Stay abreast of new developments and technology to deliver strategic solutions that will enable the business to maintain a competitive advantage
Qualification in IT or a related discipline and/or equivalent experience
PRINCE2, APM or equivalent Project Management qualification or equivalent experience
Comfortable working with Agile methodologies and task management tools such as Azure DeVos
A proven track record of delivering IT solutions and projects
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in management of software development, enhancement, and bug fix workloads
Good analytical skills
Excellent planning and organisational skills
A self-starter who is motivated and keen on supporting internal teams
Must be able to produce proof of right to work in the UK by the start of employment
