Responsibilities:

  • Effective acquisition of targeted audiences via external and internal channels
  • Develop strategies to build community engagement and retention, to increase audience activity, content submissions, audience quality and data
  • Onboarding new marketing processes, tools and platforms
  • Develop external partnerships
  • Data quality development and management
  • Developing audience personas and new insights to drive editorial, commercial and marketing opportunities
  • Marketing campaign design and delivery for specific operational and strategic initiatives

 

About you:

  • Substantial experience in a similar role B2B role
  • Thorough understanding of marketing practices and digital tactics
  • Good knowledge of the science industry and publishing services
  • Practical understanding of all major acquisition channels, such as Google AdWords, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Expert user of HubSpot or similar marketing automation platform and processes
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Effective, hand-on experience of targeted audience acquisition via external and internal channels (such as social media)
  • Previous experience in designing and delivering engagement and retention programs
  • Comfortable with presenting data and concepts to stakeholders
  • Experience developing strategies and messaging for specific audiences
  • You have end-to-end marketing campaign design and delivery experience
  • Ability to develop and manage new partnerships with external organisations
  • Self-motivated with ambition, energy, and the initiative to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively
  • Good understanding of GDPR and data compliance
  • Must be able to produce proof of right to work in the UK by the start of employment

 

Desirable:

  • A degree or equivalent within a marketing or business-related subject
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience
  • Knowledge of emerging channels such as Tik Tok and WeChat
  • Experience in working with developers and product managers to deliver new website features and functionality

*Please note this role is available remote ONLY within the UK. Occasional visits to our head office in Bath will be required as part of the job.
