About you

The Test Analyst role is to support the transformation of the SelectScience technology stack and support the existing legacy technology stack.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the tech team and other stakeholders to deliver high quality software that meets the business needs.
• Support the IT operational team to understand essential fixes and improvements.
• Test software delivered by SelectScience and its partners to ensure that software meets the business needs.
• Take part in design and analysis sessions and to ensure solutions being proposed meet the business needs.
• Promote and advocate testing best practices within the development team and throughout the business.
• Provide estimates for the testing effort required to support delivery.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience of testing web applications on multiple OS, browsers and devices

• A passion for testing software

• Attention to detail

Desirable Requirements:

• A degree in computer science, computer programming, software programming, statistics, or a related field
• Knowledge and experience of:

  • C#

    Selenium

    SpecFlow

    SQL Server
    Azure Dev Ops

    GitLab

•  Experience working in an agile delivery environment
• Experience of testing distributed applications
• Previous Test Automation experience
